Sixteen Georgia farmers were recognized for 2024 high-yielding peanuts ranging from 4,145 to 6,095 pounds per acre. Winners emphasized good rotation, quality seed, favorable weather, and proper timing of disease, weed, and insect management applications as key success factors.
Sixteen farmers were recently recognized by the University of Georgia (UGA) Peanut Team for their high yielding peanuts in 2024.
