Mexico to Allow US Potatoes Nationwide After 25-Year Trade Dispute

USDA announced Tuesday that the United States and Mexico have concluded all necessary plant health protocols for fresh table potatoes to gain access to the entire Mexican market. Still, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said talks with Mexico on biotechnology issues was frank but will not be easy to resolve.
