An invasive yellow-legged hornet was trapped in Jasper County last week, according to Clemson University officials tasked with protecting the state’s bee-keeping industry. The hornet was captured Nov. 9, and the finding was confirmed by the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) Nov. 16.
